A New Beginning
In the distant future, nestled in a quaint village upon a terraformed planet, I, a humble human, found myself. Or rather, I found myself in the midst of a tale that was so much larger than I was.
“Hey, Sera!” I heard the boisterous voice of my best friend, Kai, echoing through the cobblestone streets. “You coming to the festival tonight?”
