Onboard the nuclear submarine “Poseidon”, where the crew consisted exclusively of men, life followed strict rules. Hierarchy was sacred, and discipline was the foundation. General Karol Wiśniewski, the commander of the submarine, was a principled man who commanded the respect of his crew. His authority was unquestioned—until the day a young cook, Andrzej “Andy” Kowalski, joined the team.

Andrzej had a true talent for cooking. His meals were not only nutritious but also delicious, which felt like a miracle in the metallic, claustrophobic confines of the submarine. Embarrassed, Andrzej promised to change his ways. From that day on, their relationship became more honest, and the cook, having understood his mistakes, prepared sausages with even greater dedication.
